Don’t be influenced by your friend’s nice-looking artificial nails and don’t forget that even the best products, glues and methods of application won’t help if you don’t protect your nails from exposure to harmful substances such as bleach.
You should remember that your manicurist is a professional and will know why the artificial nail fell off and will be aware of any other such problems. Being honest with her would surely be beneficial to you, even if only in a financial sense. You should be aware that just as it is important to you, it is also important to your manicurist that you will be satisfied, and therefore any reasonable complaint will be granted (however, any unreasonable complaint will just put you to the expense of the repair and, at the same time, will create a bad impression).
Apart from that it is essential to think carefully about the length of the artificial nails. Their length depends on your profession and what duties you have during the day. Sometimes you choose longer ones only because they seem nicer, but not being used to them and being overloaded with numerous chores at home, you return to the manicurist two or three days later asking her to shorten the nails. This is an unnecessary expense resulting from not thinking the length of the artificial nails carefully enough over.
Save yourself such unnecessary expenses especially as the applied artificial nail will grow as your natural one does, so soon enough you will have a chance to experience longer nails and how they work for you.
