New look, new design, new techniques

Despite a seemingly long vacation, the beginning of August was an extremely exhausting and busy time for me. I spent most of my private free time attending trainings and workshops run by the best designers in Central Europe.

Among those mentioned above was Anna Gembala-Papierz i Żaneta Chmiel who helped me improve my technique and working time as well presented the latest trends in nails art design which is proved by my new diplomas and certificates.

Anna Gembala-Papierz is the Polish Nail Design Champion for 2008 and 2009 as well as 2nd Vice-Champion in Dusseldorf International Championships 2009. She's an experienced trainer and has often been a judge during championships.

Żaneta Chmiel is a very experienced trainer and winner of numerous competitions, such as Nail Design. She specializes in the following methods: gel Perfect French, acrylic Perfect French and Nail Art Russian Style.

The result of those meetings is my introduction of many new techniques improving the quality of nail care and hand skin as well as a series of  new products designed to look after nails and art nails design by the German company ABC Nailstore.

Starting in September, you will all be able to avail of the new, wider range of services and products including gel and acrylic techniques based on ABC Nailstore products.

Kind regards,
Margaret

The boats weren't the only ones racing...

As you're all aware, Galway has recently been blessed with the wonderful event of Volvo Ocean Race. Crowds flooded the streets making their way to the docks in order to enjoy the fine boats, a great selection of live music and food, the company of their friends and newly-acquainted strangers and, surprisingly, true summery hot weather, at last!

The way I could tell Volvo Ocean Race was on, (apart from the well-advertised campaign all over town!) was the number of customers racing to get in to my salon. Numerous ladies enjoying the big event were eager to decorate their nails with marine-related designs. All of them came out satisfied customers, leaving me one satisfied manicurist! Never before have I had a busier schedule.

Ingelise Eilertsen , a Danish lady who arrived in Galway to meet up with her friends from one of the Volvo Ocean Race teams said her nails had never been done better before! Someone who shared her satisfaction with my work was Cate Blake, who came to Galway all the way from Toronto. She told me the work I had done on her nails was one of the most exciting surprises she experienced while her stay in Galway.

With such a great interest in nail design during the Volvo Ocean Race and the Galway Races and the Galway Arts Festival coming, there's nothing left for me to do but keep coming up with more and more unique designs.

Have you HAIRED? Ireland's top hair stylist is one of my customers!

Image Louise Jordan,

an award-winning Irish hairdresser has recently become yet another of my customers. Being only 26, Louise has already had ten years of professional experience. She's also a part of the Irish hairdressing team, but she never rests on her laurels. Her success started in Dublin, at Irish Championships from where Louise came home a winner. Thanks to that, she was selected to represent Ireland abroad. Athens, Paris and Oslo are only a few foreign cities Louise has visited and conquered with her unbeatable talent. She's a proud winner of three gold, five silver and one bronze medal, as well as two fourth places.

During Louise's latest trip to Norway, her nails were attracting a lot of enthusiasm which is more than good news to me, as she was my customer right before she flew to Oslo! All her models also had all their nail designs prepared by me especially for the occasion.  I'm proud that my art can travel with such a talented hair stylist as Louise and hope it witnesses many more winning seasons!
